Data Centre & Critical Infrastructure

Mechanical and structural engineering for data centres, modular facilities, equipment-support structures and critical environmental-control systems.

Service overview

Engineering the physical infrastructure that supports resilient data centre and critical facilities.

Data centre and critical infrastructure must support heavy equipment, maintain suitable environmental conditions and remain practical to fabricate, transport, install and maintain. CITA Engineering provides mechanical and structural engineering for modular buildings, equipment-support structures, ventilation and cooling systems and the interfaces between them. Our project experience includes modular steel support structures and ventilation and cooling design for modular electrical switchgear buildings. Our engineering approach considers the complete physical environment around critical equipment, including structural load paths, equipment support, airflow, cooling duty, pressurisation, maintainability, modular construction and installation constraints. Where specialist fabrication, installation, inspection or testing is required, CITA coordinates with suitably competent delivery partners while retaining engineering oversight and design intent.

Coordinated mechanical and structural infrastructure around critical equipment and facility systems.
Improved constructability through early consideration of modular fabrication and installation interfaces.
Engineering documentation that supports fabrication, installation and commissioning activities.
